* THE RED DWARF DISCMAG #1 *
* *
**************************************************************************
Oh my, this is hard work. And I`ve only just finished the first page.
Anyway, this is the first disc based magazine for Smeggies, Dwarfers,
and other general fans off the excellent BBC sci-fi TV show RED DWARF.
This magazine is extremely small at the moment, as I intend to run it
off your (ie. YOU) contributions. It will run bi-monthly, so over the
next 8 weeks I want you to send me any artwork (IFF`s only at the
moment, sorry), stories, letters and FAQ`s which I WILL answer thru the
mag. There will be other sections of the Mag, and some are already up
and running, and there will be special features on the cast and other
related elements each issue.
This disk is pure PD and there is no obligation to send me money (Though
don`t let me hold you back!), however in later editions I would like to
run competitions for prizes (T-shirts, mugs etc.) and the only way I
could buy those is with money. If you send this,(Two pounds would be
plenty, if only six people buy this disc)and If I have any left over
after prize buying, I`ll make sure it goes to a charity.
If anyone can send IFF`s of TV footage (Episode screenshots, logos) they
would be highly appreciated.

LEGAL SCHMEGAL
**************
The Red Dwarf name, logo and characters are copyright to Rob Grant and
Doug Naylor and Grant Naylor productions. No infringement is intended
by the content of this disc. The discmag is strictly non-profitmaking.
This discmag was put together using Hyperbook, from Gold disk inc.
If you do send me anything, I cannot promise it will go on a discmag.
If you send me a picture it is possible some hacker may try to use your
picture for themselves, and take the credit. To protect yourself, take the
original artwork disc (send me a copy), seal it in an envelope, then
take it to the post office, and get them to date stamp it. By doing that
you have copyrighted your work. On the copy you are going to send me,
draw a small (C), and your name in the corner. This way, if you find
anyone else does use your work, and you are that bothered, you can sue
them. If you do this, you must send me a note saying I have permission to
use your work. If I receive work you have copyrighted, without permission,
I`ll probably just format the disc, unless it`s exceptionally good.
I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN DISCS, SO DON`T USE EXPENSIVE BRANDED DISCS
(formatted coverdisks will do) AND DON`T SEND ME YOUR ONLY COPY OF THE
WORK, SEND ME A BACKUP
The adress for anything inc. letters, contributions, FAQ`s is
